Team
Co-founded by Katya Nelhams-Wright and Emma Boswell, The Helicopter Girls has grown into a team of world-class pilots, operators and technicians. We're known for the relationships we build as much as the shots we deliver — DOPs and directors come back to us because they trust us.
TECHNOLOGY
We don't just operate equipment — we build it. From custom drone mounts to bespoke rigs engineered for specific productions, our continuous investment in R&D means we can say yes when others can't.
TECHNIQUE
We embed ourselves in the production from the start — visiting locations, testing rigs, working through problems before the camera rolls. On the day, we're part of the team, not a supplier arriving with a drone.

Our HQ is located halfway between London and Bristol, where we deploy units across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Our workshop houses an extensive fleet and equipment inventory, which we relentlessly put to the test in our flying field.
South America
Our Bogotá-based hub gives productions access to exceptional local talent and locations, with the same standards of expertise and equipment that define our UK operation. The best of both worlds — local knowledge, global quality.
